Born in Colchester in 1951 yep that makes me 62 I'd like to say feeling good but I am waiting for a operation on a hernia so once that's done I will feel a lot better. But I feel fine and love going to Torch every week and driving my Durango 410. Still learning a lot and need to find about 3 seconds a lap so I dont always get lapped, but hey started racing here in January 2013 its now May so I think I am doing quite well.

I have started looking for a new car, the Kyosho lazer zx5 has caught my eye and am looking out for a good second hand one. This doesn't really mean I will get one but it has a good chance of being a second car. I have sold 3 of my collection over the last 3 months so a new addition to the garage is overdue. The durango has been a good reliable car having broken a rear arm and servo arm only which is great, my wife always asks when I return from a day of racing "What have you broken this time" its nice to be able to say "Nothing" when I was racing 1/8th nitro i was forever breaking bits, blowing up engines and servos. I have a drawer full of  broken or twitchy servos, they probably could be repaired. The only part I spend more on than I did when I was driving 1/8th is tyres these seem to wear a lot faster on 1/10th.

I spend all my free time on the internet either on oOple or MaxBashing Neo Buggy You Tube EBay looking for latest news online bargains and just general chat. I f you want to say hello my online forum name is Dewdrop I got this name from playing mmorpg WoW, Rift, Swtor, FFXI, and FFXIV and just recently A Realm Reborn.

I dont like gardening so I spend most of my time at the computer or fiddling with my remote cars.

I earn a living as a Chef I cook for 40 elderly people aged between 80 - 106 and love all of them.

Hi everyone knows me as Bernie, I have been racing RC Cars since around 1998 can blame my old friend Paul Chenery introduced me to Remote World RC Club in Slough. I started racing with a Crono rtr upgraded to a Crono Sport then to a Kyosho MP5 then to a MP6 which I still have and race occasionally. I was recently introduced to 1:10th scale by a neighbour Shaun Macfarland and now have the bug more than ever.
